Default New user interface changes will be introduced

    Hi all,

we have just introduced our first revision of UI-changes to Kenya and will roll out those changes to co.za by the end of this week.

We will give the current BoB a fresh lick of paint over the next few weeks/months and incrementally introduce an improved experience for our users. Give Kenya a spin and post your comments in this thread.

    The new UI features:
    - New paint
    - Improved cart and quick-cart
    - Improved search
    - A quick-logon
    - Capability of moving items from the cart to the watchlist and vice versa

Looks nice Mr Mac. I take it that site is only for the Kenyanians (is that what they are called?) to list on or can we list there too?

bidorbuy.co.ke is accessible to anyone. feel free to register - just be aware, that we have payment restrictions in Kenya (i.e. no EFT).

Very fast and easy Mac. Must have been a pleasure for you all to build from scratch. Good luck with the SA site this week.

A sociology or geographical lesson rather?

Mac this all sounds most interesting. I'm going to have a spare hour or so today so will take a look at the Kenyan site.

Is it "feel free" or "feel a fee" to advertise there? Can I trade on there as if I was in South Africa and use paypal or some other means of payment?

Same as bob.co.za, just charged in Kenyan Shillings, you would need to use Paypal to accept payments and registration as a seller is limited to Visa Credit Card holders at this point in time!
