We have introduced Google +1 on our item pages. Google Plus is supposedly going to be the contender to Facebook.

Although Google Plus is still in test, I can add anyone who is interested - just PM me your gmail address and name, and I will add you.

To use Google Plus, you will need to have a Google account (i.e. gmail and also have a Google Profile)

Google +1 will become important for us as a business and you as sellers, as your users will be able to "+1" your items which will then also be favorably displayed in Google searches. Buyers will be able to see who in their circle (friends, co-workers etc) "+1" products and will likely make their purchase decision based on this.

it's more like a lonely party for now - by the looks of it, Google underestimate the response from users.
