What is most infuriating is that if you read their second email carefully, it states that most customers will not have international access, which in turn means that some DO have the access!

I've given up trying to get through to their call centre (to find out how to set my router "lower" as per their suggestions).

All that is left to do is go out in this bitterly cold gale force wind! Yip, I'm nuts, but I need to get out of this office / house! I've managed to persuade hubby that dinner is my treat so we can go anywhere tonight!

"Dear MWEB Customer

Please be advised that Seacom is planning some routine maintenance work on a portion of their undersea cable. This will run for approximately two weeks, starting Saturday 16 July 2011 .

We have made provision for this and have managed to secure alternative bandwidth for the duration of the maintenance period. We do not anticipate any disruption to your service during this time."
