No mine are perfect as I walk on the beach lucky to live close to the beach. And the sand scours away at your feet... Not pleasant having cracked heels though.

    Promise not to laugh first!

You go to Checkers and buy yourself a "Sheet sander" for R130 (you know the tool they use for woodworking?) Go and buy sand paper that says "P120" - don't go higher or lower. Now "sand" your heels every day but be careful not to over do it. You will see a lot of "white powder" coming from the heel - it is all dead skin. You will also see after a period of time that the cracks will dissapear.

You can continue doing this for the first week every day - remember to use a foot cream (I use "LENNON Heel Balm" - bought at Dischem) after every "sanding" session. Thereafter you can do it twice a week.

This might sound funny but it REALLY works - my heals is as soft as a baby's bum!

I didn't laugh at all, my heels are so sore at times i battle to walk and with all the scrubbing and working with animals keeping the floors emaculate is not making it easy on my feet, so thank you, i will try it!

The end result is far more worth than the R130 plus R5 for the sanding paper - give it a try

MrAerospace makes foot sanders which, with my special heel balm, sell for R54.00 plus R20.00 for postage.

We are still on holiday in CT but once we are home I will put some on Wednesday auction. The foot-sanders are paddle-shaped, with a handle, and have two different types of sandpaper on them.

DA - you will have the neatest heels on the planet with all these suggestions! (And, yes, of course I'll let you know when MrA's foot sanders and the heel balm are going to be on Crazy Wednesday!)

All good wishes for 2012 - to you and your little angels.
