Lucky spider???![]()
OMW - NO thank you! I know that the spiders are probably more scared of us due to our size in relation to them, but if something THAT size had to be within my sights, I'd be gone! Eeeeeeekkkkkkkk!
As scary as they look they are harmless but I would not hold any spider.
These prefer to live in ivy
Staccato is correct the English name is Tarantula. We generally get the Palystes or the Rain Spider which can actually jump. Love Arachnid's though they are harmless unless you harm they only bite in self defence. I exclude the ticks and flea from the family of Arachnid's which I love.
I Believe....
That it's taking me a long time To become the person I want to be.
And I thought the wolf spiders here were huge...
I know what I would call it if it were here....squished. My shoe would be biting IT in self-defense.
Ruthie
Have you got big feet? lol

I just saw a huge tarantula with black and brown striped legs... thank heavens he was behind safety glass in a tank! (our power was off from Sunday 06h30 to a short while ago so we went to the Cango Wildlife Ranch to pass the time this morning!)
