  • Cars.co.za - No Good!

I cannot believe how busines is conducted today. I am looking for a LDV and have seen many on sale by cars.co.za with GENERIC photos. I requested them to post a picture of the vehicle for sale, only to be informed -"Sorry we cannot be of assistance" - I have the email!!
Has any other buyer experienced this when looking for a vehicle? Why bother to place a classified if you cannot show the picture of the item that you are trying to "sell"

I wonder if I will get a reply to my email??

I agree with You , it is no good advertising online and then the buyer can not view the item online and make a decision. Instead they want to be contacted and then You spend time and money going there to listnen to sales talk.My 2c oppinion.

I must also say there is sellers that spend a lot of time taking good photos to market there items and it is always a pleasure looking at there item.

      Regards
      Joe

I buy everything , LOTS of anything....

        Hi David & Joe

Many thanks for your "2c worth" - Good one David. Joe thanks for the comment about taking decent photos, especially when it comes to cars (KIT for David) where dealers don't always describe the vehicle properly & needs an expert eye to physically check it over before any thought is entertained about buying

        Regards

Well, I hope you aren't looking for a pedal car, Kit W! lol

I absolutely agree that if people don't want to do business properly then they shouldn't be in business. Hope you soon find the LDV you are looking for. :)

              You Guys ...

You are dealing with CAR SALESMAN.

*Guys that market cars that do not exist.

              * Who is the ONLY people in possession of Golf GTI , mags, fowerflo, and racing cam,
driven by an old lady going to an old age home.

              * We recently bought a Renault Scenic Dinamique 1.9 CDI with Panoramic Roof.
Not via bid or buy, but done the exercises.

The original car were booked by us, then the 4 guys that we inquired at, all tried to sell the same car to us,
Up to R30 000 more in cases.

Our first deal fell through, after a car were 1 year younger than the manufacture date..
Sold as a 2009 model by "GM" Registered in 2009, but the papers said it were manufactured in 0ct 2008.
They charged us book price for a 2009 model.
They went quiet when we inquired, and just disappeared.
              All document had been signed
It were a CASH purchase, which we had been penalized for with another R4500 for Kick-back lost by the BANK as reward to the dealer obtaining finance.

It is a Hole, and at all times common sense should Prevail

It is your money, While you have it... Make sure you really buying what you intend to buy.

We bought a car, a 'Year " older, But younger than the "later" model for R15 000 cheaper, and a lot more luxury.

Shop around... Bid or Buy, although NOT the perfect place to shop for cars,
It is a great place to start.

We found it nice and competitive, as the market is tough.

Always Practice a clear sense of "Buyer Beware"

              Regards

Hey! I used to sell cars... but then again my then-boss ripped me off when he refused to give me all my commissions, plus then he withheld my year-end bonus! No wonder I took matters further and told him exactly where he could shove his job! LOL

I'm better off without that a******!
