  • Revised Question - Where can I purchase a album for R400-500

    Hi All,

I have revised the question as I am afraid it was giving the wrong impression. I was not asking for charity but an address where I may purchase it.

I have been searching high and low for a (brand new) stamp album / stock book that is of some level of quality, and that does require me to visit the bank for a loan. It would be nice if it had white pages and had at least 32 sides (16 pages). Can anybody plese direct me to a online store or otherwise one in the real world where I can purchase it.

I see no listings under album in BoB that suits my requirements.

    Many thanks in advance

    Hello Johnny.

I used to list top quality 16 page / 32 sides stockbooks (fine Lighthouse, made in Germany) on BidorBuy.

I should have in stock again by the end of the month.

I am not sure about the price, but it will be a about 50% lower than the amount you mentioned.

These stockbooks are stampsafe and the pages are guaranteed not to bend.

    Regards

        Hello John

Black pages are actually better, as it shows of the colours and especially the perforations so much better. The only drawback is (where applicable) that it shows off bad perforations. But there is nothing better to show of superb items than a BLACK background. That is why Dealer Stockcards are mostly black.

Also check all the stamp listings on BidorBuy – they are almost all on a black background.

I will list on BidorBuy in the first week of April.

        Regards

          Thanks for the Info dstorm

          Thanks dstorm

I appreciate the assistance that you have provided me. I had no idea that black pages were better. As I was under the impresion that the cancels on the stamps would be brought out by the black background.

This forum is proving to be an invaluable tool to spread and share the collective experiance / wisdom of all envolved. Will keep a lookout for your items in April.

          Many Thanks
