  • Preventing a Bad Buyer(s)

    Greetings!
Let's just say you are watching an item that you have listed and somebody, who's feedback profile is less than desireable, is bidding on your item. Can you reject there bid? if so how?
I see alot of you folks have to deal with non compliance, is there a bad buyer list somewhere?

    Here is the link...

    http://forum.bidorbuy.co.za/forum-co...dders-2-a.html

Make sure that you read the information about the link first.

You can also search the forum for the buyer's name to see whether other forum sellers have had experiences with them. Then PM them. Otherwise search the forum and have a look at these two threads:

    http://forum.bidorbuy.co.za/selling-...id-buyers.html

    http://forum.bidorbuy.co.za/selling-...w-bidders.html

    Good luck...

You are quite within your rights to cancel the bid by a buyer that has previous poor ratings for non fulfillment of their purchases. When you cancel the bid , in the drop down menu for the reasons the bid is being cancelled , you will see the applicable option "Buyer has received negative feedback previously from another seller for non-fulfillment".
consistency is the last resort of the unimaginative.

Deleting a bid is one thing. Keeping them from bidding and re-bidding and bidding again on the same item is another. BidOrBuy does not provide a way to block a bidder until they have bid / won an auction. I can kinda / sorta understand the reasoning behind this, but it sure is 'dog chase tail' trying to keep up with their continuing to bid. I had one buyer, who had bid / won / baled on several auctions prior to new format and there was no way to block buyer. I 'lived' in front of the computer for nearly four hours deleting bids on five auctions. Within minutes of deleting a bid, buyer would bid again. Same with more than a few non-paying (other sellers) buyers. Delete their bid and bingo-bango-bongo, they bid again. Wanted to reach through the monitor and smack their hand...or hide their dang keyboard.
