Default Shipping function - is there any way I can turn it off ?

I find the automatic shipping problematic because it does not allow you to charge by weight.

I sold two combined items. One shipping fee (I type this on each listing) stipulated R40 and the other was R45. When the items were combined, the parcel weighed just over 2kg - which at SAPO is regarded as between 2kg and 3kg.

My charges are R40 for the first kg + R5 per additional kg - so this parcel should have been R40 + R5 + R5 = R50. The shipping function calculated R40 for the first item + R5 for the additional item. The buyer paid me R45.

I understand how the buyer made the mistake - even though I had emailed the correct charge - and am not concerned about this instance (the R45 covered the postage in any case) but can see problems in the future.

Is there any way I can switch the new postage system off?
    Items I have for sale.

Why do today what you can put off till next year?

Spray it with mace or pepper spray...

Sorry, it's late - not at all helpful!

Do you need a licence to carry mace?

Go to your Shipping Charges link on the left hand navigation under Sales Support Menu, your shipping options will appear on the next page. There is an option to delete them, or edit them and change the status to disabled.
