That's excellent Brands. Alwyn from our PO also calls me when there are parcels for collection or just sends a friendly mail when they don't see me everyday. I believe that this is the type of person we should look after as we too are important to them! Well done Waterfront PO

Does anyone ever think to "spoil" the great folk who serve us in the PO on a daily basis?

A huge cake for Easter goes down well, as do special little chocolates for each one at Christmas.

I think the really good staff always deserve an unexpected treat!

When I went to the PO on Tuesday with such a large load of parcels, I was going to dash into the Spar when we were done and get the branch a nice gooey cake to say "thanks", but when I was on the receiving end of the attitude, I changed my mind - why encourage bad behaviour? The last time they offered "service with a smile" was last year sometime, and they didn't even say thank you for the gifts I gave them with my last shipping batch before Christmas.

A bunch of ungrateful cows at my branch...

PS. As hubby says - they get paid a good salary to do their job, so unless it is exceptional "out of this world" service, then they don't really deserve to be spoilt! That goes for all industries!

I agree Cali they are paid to do a job...unless they really go out of their way, why should we have to bribe them to earn their salaries.

Well, our post office staff definitely DO go out of their way to provide excellent service - that's why I like to spoil them! (And I do not "bribe" anyone!!) lol
