Just label everything "personal effects" and you should find all parcels reaching their destination safely!

If you want to send things cheaply (less than R10) make use of the regular or fastmail services, it is all listed in the little price booklet at your PO. fastmail envelopes are R4.50 with the envelope, and insured is R4.50+insurance rate.

Here are a few - let's start with the list of ones that have dropped in price (YES - they really did)

    (end of list)

And some of the ones that have increased:
    Fast mail postage included envelopes:
    DL R 4.35
    B5 R 10.40

(Other sizes not listed in my copy of the new rates)

    Econo parcel R 19.30
Ordinary parcel R 31.55 and R 4.25 per additional kg

    insurance still @ 2%

    Speed services counter-to-counter:

    1kg R 71.39
    2kg R 99.63

    Hope this helps

Just note that the Speed Services rates specifically might not 'match' - I have not seen their own released rates yet.

Wishful thinking, RAG. Has the PO ever been known to decrease any of its rates because I can't remember such a celebratory event.
