You are correct. Banning's usually are one or even two weeks, but for one or other "unforgivable" reason he was banned for 3 yes 3 months.
We all knows Edmund has a lovely sense of humor! Even if he gets "personally attacked."
Sometimes he is so misunderstood by some!
Follow the story under Suspicious seller which is now removed......I think.
I still think this was a matter that could have been resolved without banning Edmund for 3 months!
Edmund will be back 24 November 2011........still a long wait.

At the risk of making myself unpopular here, I have to say I don't always "get" Edmund's humour and have also found him insulting at times. Possibly this is just due to not truly understanding his style of writing.

I realise that he is very much a champion of causes dear to his heart, but in my opinion he often takes things too far.

I missed all the excitement (darn ) so can't comment on the thread that ended with the banning.

Jacques (dstorm) is always witty and polite. In my opinion a true gentleman (and a dog lover). So even though I don't know the details of the thread, if I had to choose sides, I would back Jacques. There was obviously something that really annoyed him for him to tackle Edmund head on.

Glad for all Edmund's followers that he will be back ... AND on someone's birthday too!
